Gah, another last minute interview
I mean, I’m so grateful for the opportunity, but I have class today, then I have to run a participant for a study, then I’m doing an assignment due tomorrow morning, then I’m studying for my midterm tomorrow, then I have rehearsal, then SLEEP.
Then wake up in the morning, study like mad for the midterm, run another participant for the study, then 3 hour seminar, then break to eat lunch/study for midterm, then midterm, then run home and do this last-minute interview. Then pack for Florida and collapse in bed, only to wake up at 3am on Saturday.
I am literally shaking from the 3 coffees I had for lunch today and my brain cannot comprehend doing all this.
When am I supposed to research this prof who’s interviewing me??? I need to know background info on HER research (and man, she’s prolific) and her students, and since I mentioned a PhD student’s research that she supervised in my personal statement, I have to read up on that too, and OMG I’M GOING TO GO INSANE.
2 more days 2 more days 2 more days and then I can lie in the sun and sleep. Screw hanging out with people and partying, I just want to relax and sleep and rest and not think.
