So at first I wasn’t going to do it, because I seem to be mosey-ing on along in my routine pretty nicely. But then I realized that I did need to kick my ass into gear and that routines can become ruts, which can become triggers for behaviour that doesn’t end well (a.k.a. horrible eating and general laziness).
So here are my 3 simple goals for the next month:
- Cook more exciting meals from the “Eat Clean Diet Cookbook”. I’m often scared of trying new things (what if it’s yucky? what if it takes too much time? etc), so this will be big for me. Goals is to cook 1 recipe per week (except for the week I am in Florida. Because I don’t think I’ll be able to cook there. To make up for it - a week with 2 new recipes). So 4 new recipes total.
- Drink 4 cups of water a day. I drink pots upon pots of tea (I think I had 7 today?) but I need more water (it’s a problem during winter; I’m always cold and I always want warm tea).
- Do the 100-pushup app every night before bed. I’ve started it and forgotten all about it a couple of times already, so I really want to get a move on.
That’s it. I’d rather do well on these goals than fail at a gazillion of them. Now I’m all pumped for the NO EXCUSES CHALLENGE!
