Question - how is it that every week when I go grocery shopping, I spend 10$ more than the previous week even though I buy the EXACT same things?!?!
Seriously though - you can see from my countdown posts that I buy the same things every week:
- some sort of meat
- frozen veggies to bake
- lettuce
- canned tuna
- eggs
- cottage cheese
- bananas
That’s it, serious! I mean, every week, there’ll be an incidental item (last week, it was PB … 1kg jar, won’t have to buy that again for a while; this week, it was oatmeal … again, with 2kg there, I won’t need to buy it again anytime soon). I just don’t get it.
It’s not like I’m running out of money or anything, but I’m just surprised … first week back, I spent like 20$. Second week - 30$. This week - close to 40$.
Let’s just hope it doesn’t keep going up. Although I can’t see how it would. (Oh, except if I totes give in to the stress and start buying medium size pizzas to eat in their entirety for dinner. But let’s hope that doesn’t happen).
